Softball Tournament

SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT
On Tuesday the 23rd March we went to a softball tournament held at Ranui Domain. We took 36 kids, 12 from t-ball, 12 from softball boys and 12 from softball girls. In the start softball boys had to wait for 2 games until they could start their first match. Some of the softball boys were nervous and didn’t have high hopes. Their first game finished and all you could hear was “oh yeah, we are the champions my friends!!!!!” When we got back to the gazebo we had a little bit of food to eat then we went back to practicing. We had more games coming up. In all of our games we didn’t start out well but we came through in the end of our games. In our last match we were playing against Sunnyvale Primary. We won it because we were using teamwork to get them out. We were waiting for our school name to be called out when it was we sent our leaders Eward Latu and Buster Milani to go and get the trophy. We had a good time in our softball tournament. That is a day we will never forget. We worked hard and we were proud of ourselves.
