Peter Grogan

With more than 40 years of international experience in leadership, strategy and business development, I bring a broad range of experience in working with people, organisations and communities across different cultures and environments.

I have always believed that education is one of the most important foundations for a successful and healthy community. Schools play a vital role not only in helping children achieve academically, but also in developing their confidence, character, curiosity, resilience and sense of belonging.

My professional career has involved executive leadership, international business development, organisational transformation, building diverse teams, supporting start-ups and helping organisations navigate periods of significant change. These experiences have taught me the importance of listening, collaboration, sound decision-making and, above all, recognising that successful organisations are built around their people.

I chose to become a Trustee because I wanted to contribute my experience and perspective to something that has a direct and lasting impact on children and families. I believe every child should have the opportunity to feel valued, supported and encouraged to reach their potential, regardless of their background or circumstances.

As a Trustee, I am committed to working collaboratively with the Principal, staff, fellow Trustees, students, parents and the wider community. My focus is on supporting good governance, responsible stewardship and a clear long-term vision for the school, while ensuring that the wellbeing, development and educational success of our children remain at the heart of every decision we make.

I feel privileged to have the opportunity to serve the school community and to contribute, in whatever way I can, to creating an environment in which our young people can learn, grow, discover their strengths and leave school confident about their future.
