Mabuhay! My name is Mary Jane Sales, and I am a proud Filipino teacher working with a Year 3/4 class in Room 17. I am pleased to serve as the Maths Lead and the leader of the PONO PLG at our school.

I am passionate about creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment where students feel safe, confident, and motivated to learn. I strongly believe that meaningful relationships are the foundation of successful learning, and I am committed to supporting every student to reach their full potential through encouragement, structure, and high expectations.

As a teacher, I value honesty, respect, kindness, and perseverance, and I intentionally weave these values into both our learning and daily classroom interactions. I love sharing my Filipino culture and experiences with students, helping to celebrate diversity and build strong connections within our multicultural school community.

In my free time, I enjoy cooking, being actively involved in church, gardening, and caring for my plants—something that brings me joy and helps me create a peaceful and welcoming home environment. I also treasure spending quality time with my family and friends. I am truly looking forward to another wonderful year of learning, growing, and working together with our students, families, and wider school community.
