My name is Sona Chawla, and I teach a Year 5/6 class in Room 2. Teaching is my passion, which I have pursued for the past 26 years. The early years of my career were spent in India, educating visually impaired students. My teaching experience in New Zealand includes relieving, teaching all years from 0 to 6, and holding various leadership positions. Henderson North School has been my second home for the past 17 years, and I've treasured every minute there teaching and learning about children, whānau, and education. I feel privileged and blessed to be part of HNS whānau.
