Talofa lava, my name is Psalm Peteru, and I am honoured to be joining the Henderson North School whānau as a Learning Assistant. I was born in Samoa and raised in West Auckland, and I am proud of my Samoan heritage and the strong values it has instilled in me.

It means a lot to be able to give back to the community that helped shape who I am today. I am looking forward to supporting our students, building positive relationships with them, and encouraging each one to achieve their personal best.

I’m also excited to be involved in school events and activities, celebrating learning, connection, and community together. And of course, I look forward to learning all the students’ names—eventually!
