"Kia ora and Namaste! My name is Drishti Khanna, and I am a Year 4 teacher in Room 6. This is my fourth year teaching at HNS, and I feel grateful to be part of such a supportive and diverse school community.
I am originally from India and have over 12 years of teaching experience. I bring my culture and experiences into the classroom to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all learners.
I believe in the power of building positive relationships with students, their whānau, and my colleagues. I value the impact of small acts of kindness and strive to create a classroom environment where students feel respected, supported, and confident to take risks in their learning.
In my personal time, I enjoy practising yoga, spending time with my family, and exploring new places."
