"Kia ora,
My name is Jonathan McConchie. I am a Year 4 teacher in Room 7. I have always had the passion to teach, share, and learn for as long has I can remember. I started my teaching journey at Henderson North in 2022, and every day brings its wonders, challenges and enjoyment. I have the fantastic opportunity to be the Health and PE curriculum leader since 2024 and have the drive to ensure students at Henderson North are active learners, learn skills and grow to become leaders. Before I was teacher, I was in construction for 5 years and travelled around the world, picking up new skills and an appreciation for cultures, languages, and the world we live in.
