"Kia ora and Kumusta! My name is Zoryne, and I teach Year 1 and Year 2 students. I was born and raised in the Philippines and moved to Auckland in 2014 after years of teaching in my home country.
Following my move, I transitioned into a new role as a teacher aide, supporting students with additional learning needs. This experience was both humbling and rewarding, and it strengthened my commitment to inclusive education. I completed my Graduate Diploma in Teaching (Primary) at the University of Auckland in 2022 to return to my passion for classroom teaching.
I am dedicated to building strong, positive relationships with the children and supporting them to become confident, capable learners. Guided by the value of magis - striving to give more and be more for others - I aim to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued. Outside of school, I enjoy travelling and exploring different cultures, as well as taking care of my succulents."
